Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
